Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety

What is the Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety: The Telluride Experience?

The Telluride Experience (TTE) Patient Safety Summer Camps are transformative, four day, immersive workshops that convene resident physicians, graduate nursing students, and medical students to focus on patient safety concepts and the application of quality and safety improvement strategies and tools. TTE utilizes various teaching modalities to help participants learn profoundly for sustained impact. We provide functional knowledge and tools to implement and share these lessons with colleagues after returning to their institutions.

Applicants are selected based on their demonstrated passion and interest in patient safety, history of leadership, and commitment to ongoing education and scholarship in patient safety.
